Οι Δημοκρατικοί απειλούνται με δεινή ήττα

Σοβαρό πλήγμα δέχονται οι Δημοκρατικοί του προέδρου Μπαράκ Ομπάμα, οι οποίοι απειλούνται με δεινή ήττα στις ενδιάμεσες εκλογές της 2ας Νοεμβρίου για το Κογκρέσο, λόγω της απογοήτευσης που διακατέχει πολλούς ψηφοφόρους αλλά και εξαιτίας της γενικευμένης απάθειας του εκλογικού σώματος. Σύμφωνα με χθεσινή δημοσκόπηση του Associated Press, μόλις οι μισοί από τους ψηφοφόρους που στήριξαν τον Ομπάμα στις εκλογές του 2008 σκοπεύουν να ψηφίσουν στην αναμέτρηση του Νοεμβρίου.
